Since 2007, SORA Certification has been mandated for all contract security officer positions in the State of New Jersey. The Initial SORA Training Process requires 3 steps to be completed within a 30 day period. These steps are…
#2 Complete a 24 hour training program with a New Jersey State Police Certified SORA Training Instructor. (Register For Classes Now!).
#3 Submitting your Fingerprints to the NJ State Police. This is most commonly completed with IdentoGo by MorphoTrust (Cannot complete this step until after you have registered with the NJ State Police)
Proper government-issued identification is required for each step, and a credit/debit card is required.
